Ich mochte die (ehemals) subtilen Singer/Songwriter-Stücke von St. Vincent schon immer (ganz besonders THE STRANGERS). Das neue aktuellste Album schlägt zwar andere Wege ein – genauer: mal gut gelaunten, mal melancholischen Indie- bzw. Electropop – aber geht mir ähnlich gut ins Ohr. Wer derartigen Sound mag, wird hier sicher ein wenig mitwippen können. Meine Favoriten sind übrigens Birth in Reverse und Regret.
