Jacker – Paralyzed [November 2015] by Dj Jacker on Mixcloud
Was heute in Paris passiert ist, macht mich schon wieder fassungslos.
What happened in Paris this night is not just only a disgusting and brutal act of terror. It’s an insult on everything our modern world stands (or should stand) for. Going to a concert, watching a soccer game, or having a drink at a bar, are all fragments of one greater good: freedom. The freedom to enjoy one’s life and do, whatever each and every one of us preferes to do. Without being afraid of anything.
The thread to lose one’s life because insane and misguided murderers are taking “revenge” for something, not a single civilian in Paris or elsewhere has ANYTHING to do with and for reasons that don’t make any sense at all, scares me, makes me hate the world for all this madness and of course paralyzes me, too. Hundreds of people’s life was taken for NOTHING.
Yesterday evening I was in a nice mood, looking forward to an even nicer weekend. Now, after I heard of the events, I just feel sick, confused and try not to be hateful, because hate is ALWAYS the wrong way. So I just started to play out some music and tried to somehow express my feelings, concerning this terrifying event. The result sounds, as anyone can imagine, chaotic, dark-minded and cold. It’s Drum & Bass, but massively pitched down, which felt like an actuall expression of the inability to move or think straight. Sorry, no positiveness at all, but that’s how i feel at the moment, while my deepest condolences go out to everyone who has lost someone in this use- and senseless act of mass-murder. Fuck anyone with a hateful mind, fuck the world, fuck all this violence.
